Hear great music, meet Sean in Appleton on Saturday

I’ll be speaking (briefly, I promise) this Saturday evening as the emcee at Catholic Underground of Green Bay & the Fox Cities; the “stars” of the evening will be 1) Jesus (adoration will begin at 7:00 and go until about 8:00), and 2) Catholic singer/songwriter Burke Ingraffia (his concert starts at 8:30). It’s safe to say that you really can’t go wrong spending time with God incarnate, and you’ll also really enjoy Burke’s music and what he shares about his own life and experience.

I’ve been asked to say a few words about the New Evangelization; I’ll probably talk a bit about what it’s not (a new program/directive/initiative, although it can look an awful lot like one) and a bit about what it is (you, telling your story to someone who actually wants to hear it).

Catholic Underground is an outreach of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in NYC, and is being “franchised” to other parts of the country.
